Entirely too excited for this movie.
No clue if the story is going to be all that good, but I really want to see it for the animation and see how far disney will take it. Looks good, so long as they don’t do a crappy montage scene which they usually love to do.
“Le Jour des Corneilles” (The Day of the Crows), Directed by Jean-Christophe Dessaint.
Beautifully hand-animated, with intriguing design, this film is a bright light for traditional animation.
The film is being co-produced in France, Belgium, Canada, and Luxembourg by Finalement, Melusine Productions, Walking The Dog, and Max Films Animation.
“Le Jour des Corneilles” will be released in France on October 24, 2012.
Looks really interesting, hopefully they sub or dub it, as I barely remember any french anymore.

Imaginary
Stop motion is hard enough, but when you actually have a person in it it gets that much harder. This is a great piece of artwork.

The Shins come out with yet another great music video. The Rifle’s spiral is about a magician, three sinister looking gentlemen, and a giant rabbit. The stop motion music video was directed by Emmy-winning Jamie Caliri.
I love stop motion, it really is a magical form of art and animation.
